You might have to sweeten that canes deal a little. Little is a cap dump and you want Haydn Fleury but you're going to need to add maybe a mid to late round pick. Nothing above a third but maybe two fouths or a fourth and two fifths. Only because he's a roster player

Big "ifs" if you can just give Mason away. Same with Little, might be a fair trade but you still have find a partner that is willingly to take his contact till he age 36. Perrault might be a good candidate to be gifted also for cap reasons.

I didn't mean for little I meant you want Haydn Fleury and he is a top 6 d-man in Carolina probably going to be higher in the organisational depth chart next season so you may have to pay a slightly more expensive price to a cap dump, an RFA and a second. I know little can score more then twice every 80 games unlike one Milan Lucic

Someone is going to give Statsny a contract like that...and someone is going to regret it. He's been very good in the playoffs, no doubt...but he's an NHL average regular season player.

Sorry but no room for Statsny... with that roster what will you do next year with: Wheeler, Laine, Myers, Connors... you will need at least 15M for their raise!
= No Statsny + Little, Kulikov, Perreault need to find a new home and they all have a NMC.

Really don't understand moving Lowry and Petan for a 3rd. The cap is expected to rise to near $80M so there is space for this season. Resigning Laine, Wheeler, Connor, and Fleury for 2019-20 will be impossible.

Little is not a cap dump. He's a 30 year old responsible two-way center that has played 1C or 2C his whole career. I understand that now he is in the 3C or 4C hole based on match-ups on the deepest team in the league.
As a 2C he's good for 50-55pts for years to come.
