New DRW

Created by: AZWings
Team: 2018-19 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: May 8, 2018
Published: May 16, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Detroit gets younger. Rasmussen has nothing left to prove in the WHL so slot him alongside Nielsen to learn how to be a good center. Svech brings some down low ability to Z/AA line. Nyq/Larkin/Mantha for the #1 line.

D. We bring up Hronek and Hicketts. They probably won't make the back-end any worse.

Need another goalie. Could Grubauer be the link between Howard and Petruzzelli? If so that would allow us to trade Howard at the 19 deadline.

Rasmussen played in the WHL and you are right, he dominated last season. Look at his playoff numbers.

I think this is pretty realistic really. there are a number of young goalies out there we can get. I like grubby but jarry in Pittsburgh or even kinkaid in nj could be viable starters.

You’ve got Abby on the correct line.

I agree on Jarry in Pittsburgh; definitely could be an option since they seem to be going with DeSmith as the backup.
