Necas is almost certainly making the Canes roster next season and he's going to be a RW at the NHL level, probably on the second or third line.

I think the two most likely players to be traded are Skinner and Rask.

Warren Foegele (LW) and Lucas Wallmark (C) should be able to make the team next season, while Janne Kuokkanen (C) also has a shot but they'll probably give him another year in the AHL.

Because of that I don't see them resigning Derek Ryan, unless they also trade Lindholm, which is unlikely since Brind'Amour stated during his press conference that they needed more toughness and Lindholm plays that style.

I think the Canes would rather trade Staal in that deal rather than Rask. Would make that cap trade more balanced.
