Yea I don’t think Carolina wants to be stuck with the contract in full. So maybe a chunk of his contract gets retained and it’s a done deal. Great idea. Hopefully this will go down in real life.

Love this trade. Works for both teams. Helps the Blues in the short term. Hopefully they can resign him and he'll be a big part of their current playoff hopes
