Where I would agree with you, I don't think STL makes the offer with Kyrou in it. Starting to think they believe he's become an "untouchable" prospect like Thomas.

Of all the prospects that the Blues have in their farm, I simply don't see management being willing to part with Kyrou or Thomas. Which is why I considered adding two "C" prospects, one "RD" prospect (w/ some NHL experience) and picks for Galchenyuk.

Gretzky proved nobody is untouchable but Barkov is about as close as it probably gets. I'd love to get him but it would cost more than Parayko for sure.

He is one I could see adding a prospect like Kostin or Foley, but I certainly wouldn't start with them in a trade package.

You might not start with adding prospects but if you truly wanted Barkov, and could get a viable replacement for the 2nd RHD, then you might end up adding even Thomas with Parayko for Barkov.

Barkov is one of the few truly untouchable players in the league. Parayko for Barkov straight up is a laughable offer at best.
