Obviously who knows what Tavares himself is thinking but I think the Sharks have a decent chance of landing him and I just wanted to illustrate that the Sharks have the means to fit him in. Even if you don't buy the Boedker trade, I think they could move him or Dillon to make the necessary room. Signing Tierney is not necessary if we get Tavares either.

Well no team ever has 20 players only on their rosters and what do you do next year when you need to sign some big name guys?

There are guys the sharks could call up in case of injury. Next year would definitely be an issue but You gotta pay the price to have that #1 center. I would say next year sharks sign Couture and let Pavelski walk if you can't fit him. He is older and slower than the league is trending.
