Description
Why is it that almost every new roster on here either trades Kessel, resigns Kunitz, or grabs Nathan Beaulieu? None of these moves help the Pens and there's zero reason to do any of them. Beaulieu is nothing more than another Derrick Pouliot, along with a giant cap hit for what he's traditionally brought to the table. Kunitz left for his own reasons, and his complete lack of playoff scoring is more than enough to show why we should be glad he's gone. Finally there's Phil. Is everyone forgetting his NTC? If Rutherford asked him for his 8-team list, Phil would do exactly what he did to Toronto and make it as difficult as possible to trade him. Does anyone think we'll get anything of value for Kessel from Washington? Or Philadelphia? Or Columbus, Boston, Tampa, Montreal, Ottawa, or Toronto? Phil goes if and when he wants to, and there's zero reason for him to want out. Can we please mix things up a bit?

I agree 100%. I constantly see Kessel and Letang being put in garbage trades on this website

To me Phil Is in a perfect place in Pittsburg. Any team trading for him would be getting not be getting the good/very version of Kessel that exists in Pittsburg but might get the poor/average/good version that he was in Toronto.

I agree and same with Letang. Letang means more to PIT than other teams will give credit for.
