You could also throw in a trade with PHI

                BUF: O'reily

PHI: Felix Sandstorm, 3rd round pick, Pascal Laberge and Phillipe Myers.

But as a Flyers fan i can state that Philly would not like O'riely due to his slowness and pretty big cap hit.

Yeah, as a BUF fan I understand why some of us overvalue him because he's so good at draws and defensively but he is relatively slow especially for a top C making almost 8 mil a year. With the way the game is going (younger + faster) his contract will look bad when he is 30+ y.o. and even slower. I believe he will be dealt this offseason and likely everyone in BUF will be dissapointed with the return.

For starters, its 7.5 which is as close to 7 as it is 8. as the cap keeps going up his cap hit will be pretty normal.

hes not a burner but hes not slow. he puts up 60 points playing tough minutes, a lot of defensive zone starts and not much around him. i'm open to moving him, but im not exactly dying to get rid of hiim

As a flyers fan, it's really that my second favorite team actually is BUF.

I can see Ryan getting traded to a team going for a cup run, and in return get A

*Conditional 2nd round pick (That can turn 1st round)
                * 2nd round pick
                *A mid tier goalie prospect
                *A Low tier forward prospect
                * Also BUF would probably have to retain some salary cap from Ryan.

I think it makes no sense for us to just trade ROR, if a good offer comes in for an exchange, then the JBot will consider it, if not, no problem, this guy will definitely come in handy next season.

I see a solid offer for ROR being a Top 6 Forward, Top Prospect and a Top Pick..... other than that the Sabres keep him and look to move him at the trade deadline or next off season.....

As far as the trades listed:

                1. St. Louis - yes
                2. Arizona - no
                3. Montreal - maybe
                4. NYI - no
                5. Carolina - no
                6. NJD - no
                7. CBus - no

I appreciate you putting all those trades together....

Sure he will come in handy next season but if Mittelstadt is going to be our future #2 C then why not trade ROR now while he still has pretty good value and get some nice young peices in return rather than wait a couple years when we are paying our third line center 7.5 mil a year.

Sure he will come in handy next season but if Mittelstadt is going to be our future #2 C then why not trade ROR now while he still has pretty good value and get some nice young peices in return rather than wait a couple years when we are paying our third line center 7.5 mil a year.

I see no reason why ROR suddenly over six months or a year will be worse. Of course Mittelstadt our #2 C in the future, but it is necessary to grow meat in the third link. I do not want to throw the guy immediately Central the second link to open, but ROR could we trade at the deadline if that or the following summer.
