I can't see DAL moving their #1C for that package. But it would be awesome if they did!

Also that dcore is bad. Orpik shouldn't be on the team, let alone on in top 4. Also should just resign Carlson.

They won't resign him so the better option is to sign Green for one year so they have cap flexibility going forward.

These moves would be to go for it again but still maintain cap flexibility. Green for one year and Seguin for one year.

And Orpik has been great these playoffs and is a team leader. He's not going anywhere.

He's been lucky to say the least. Gets absolutely blasted in shots and scoring chances against. He's bad and either needs to be traded or be a #7 next season.

And I would bet Carlson is resigned.

Seguin is not going to get moved for a 3rd line wing (oh, people hate it when I say that), a 3C, a 3rd pair D, #31 and #62. Even if I lie to myself and say that Burakovsky, is a 2W... it's still not enough for Seguin.

Seguin has been playing 1C as well. SO unless your plan is to also move either Kuznetsov or Backstrom... whoever is getting that 3C spot is not going to be happy, at all.

Seguin would be a rental since he only has one year left on his deal so it is a lot to give up

If the Stars move Seguin as a rental at the deadline they will get better offers than this set. Your deal isn't a junk offer, its just not going to do it. Was Grubauer in there originally?
