Description
Just playing around. Got more flexibility on defence, and added Grabner for more speed down low. In this setup, Phil can play with Malkin, and yet Brassard has a good forechecker and good shooter on his line. Ward I believe brings much needed veteran oversight and stability behind Murray.

Pysyk has 2 more years and costs nearly a million more than hunwick. Hunwicks contract would be over after this upcoming season. So since FLA is giving the bigger dump, they can be the ones to compensate for it. Take jarry out of there.

You didn’t do your homework obviously, and gave a bad rating as a result. Hunwick and Pysyk both have 2 years left on their deals, and although Pysyk has 200,000 more to his contract, he’s a 26 year old, RHD (what JR is looking for), and logs a good amount of minutes and does pretty well. It would be a substantial upgrade to the D. Hunwick is close to 34 years old. We also get a second back. Jarry could be more expensive, but maybe then add in like a Jared McCann for a 4L centre.

Your paying more in cash and youd be giving a very solid goaltending prospect for just barely an upgrade on defence.

I would say it’s a big upgrade. Actually good NHL RD for a guy that could be out of the league this season. Goalie prospects have pretty low value to so, probably this deal is pens slanted if anything

The other deal certainly is, Buff needs D and they seem high on McCabe

Fair enough but they also need bottom six wingers too! That’s for the comment! I thought it was an upgrade with Pysyk
