Ok first of all, Pens need a RHD not a LHD. 2Nd of all they also need a defenseman that is at least suitable as a top 4 D which Schlemko is not. Hagelin is a good speedy 2-way player so they dont need to get rid of him especially for a defenseman they dont need.

If Habs can stomach Little's six year deal, he can be got cheap as you suggest. And he's needed in Montreal at least short term.

I think Little will be trade has a No Move Clause is kicking in this summer... and WPG will need cap-room.
Not sure if Hudon is the right piece but seems fair enough.

Not sure if Calgary are high on Pacc... but they are on Gally!
Give Gally instead ( even if I like him alot!!!) insert Chucky 1RW and keep & sign Pacc for 6x6M.
OK top 6 with scoring power

Yeah. For some reason i thought that Hagelin fell out of favour there. Thought the pens would like the cap savings. However, if Hagelin hasn't fell out of favour there, you are right and this deal wouldn't work

Are you suggesting the Flames trade Tkachuk? Because he and Gaudreau are the two untouchables on the Flames. It would have to be a package for Gallagher, and Montreal would say no.

Not based on what the going market rates have been for Top 3-4 dmen under the age of 30. Gallagher for Brodie straight up would work well for both sides. CGY would be terribly interested in Pacioretty or Gallagher for Brodie, straight up. No chance Treliving adds to Brodie in a deal here.
