Sens definitely say no, and the Canes probably do too.

I like it, and I think the trades are fair. But, up front, I'd roll with Saad-Toews-Dzingel, JVR-Schmaltz-Kane, DeBrincat-Anisimov-Sikura, and Ejdsell-Wingels-Duclair. And you're missing Hinostroza, who would probably play on the third or fourth line in this format, maybe meaning Anisimov is traded. Nilsson won't make the team over guys like Kampf or Kahun either. Nilsson will be in Rockford. And still really need another top four defenseman for this team to go anywhere. Ideally, it would be Keith-Faulk, ____________-Seabrook, Forsling-Rutta, Gustafsson the 7th defenseman, and Hillman in Rockford. Also missing Oesterle. Oesterle could fill in on the second pairing if needed, but he is better suited to be a bottom pairing defenseman.

WALaxer19 didn't spend much time looking into lines but totally forgot Vinnie, thanks. Agree with everything you're saying.

You overpaid for Hino and Hayden both by about $250K each leaving cap room of $6M, sign John Moore on D for a veteran presence.

Trades are decent except Dal Colle hasn't made the NHL in 4 seasons, he might be a bust.

Lines are a mess. Kampf will play 4th line center and Edjsell will play 4th line LW. The Cat is 1st or 2nd liner. Dylan and Hino are not C's, they are too small. Wingels is not needed in this scenario. Seabs is a 2nd or 3rd liner, he doesn't have the stamina or speed to play on the top line.

Let's hear from you, what would you consider a fair trade Dzingel? I've been trying to ping Sens fans on this because though I love Dzingel and want him back in Chicago, I don't know enough about what the Sens need or would be looking for in a trade. Make some suggestions!

If there's 6 left, I skip John Moore and go for Cal De Haan, or someone with more upside...

I agree generally just concerned about his health and consistency as he's only plaid one full season. John Moore provides more cost control and I like the fact he's played top line minutes and is a Chicago native.

Huh, Winnetka, I had no idea... Okay, I'll buy that. I wonder what salary range he's looking for, he was 1.95 on the last one...

Yes, came up as a kid through the same systems as Hayden, Hino and WIngels. I think he will get between $2.75 and $3.25M.

I'm not totally sure. he's hard to value accurately, because his value skyrockets if you actually watch him play regularly. He is probably a top 10 player in the league in terms of speed, and he can use that speed to force dangerous scoring chances out of nothing plays. he had 23 goals and 41 points this season, and I don't think he is even close to peaking. has the potential to be a 30 goal 50-60 point guy easily. that's why it's hard to value him. Sens fans are going to want to get a return on what he is going to be, whereas any team trading for him is going to want to pay for what he is now.
