    I like the Trouba idea, but that's not the correct compensation

    If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't they be 2018 picks? Then the hawks can't properly compensate.

    I thought it was 2019 because free agents can be signed July 1st which is after the draft but I am not positive

    It has to be 2019 picks because free agency occurs after the draft. That said, I'm all for it but I think the Jets would match it. Offer sheets are usually somewhat crazy of price tags so it would have to be over 7m per I would think.

    What makes you think Trouba is going to sign to a team he grew up hating? Also, you can get more for Murphy. Guy is a great defenseman
