That first trade doesnt make sense, a cap dump for a cap dump and Rangers move up in the draft? also Vancouver needs defense more than forwards

It does: both are cap dumps but Lucic's contract is worse: 5 years instead of 3 (and 26M instead of 15M). It's difficult to estimate the value between the two contracts in draft capital, but as a NYR fan, I'm not sure how I would feel if this trade occurred. The other two trades are bad, though.

These are pretty bad undersells. 1st trade makes sense but Lucic might have worst contract in league not named Parise or Abdelkader.

Kevin Hayes is worth whatever ROR is worth. So that's a pretty massive undersell.
