They have to sign kucherov, point, gourde and any defensemen after next season, can't do anything with term. Could take on an unfavourable deal with 1 year left for futures or pursue guys like Kunitz for a 1 year deal to take another crack at her.

Don't know why you want to put Dotchin on the top line with Hedman, I think his time is numbered or at best in the press box. I think the Lightning do try to find a competent top 4 right defenseman. What it takes to get thatt RD don't know but could they lose Tyler Johnson for Justin Faulk to play next to Hedman. Faulk has a couple years left on his deal so it would end right about the time hopefully Cal Foote is ready.
