Trading Letang to Carolina is a great move. The Penguins' defense improves quickly.

Trading away Kessel and Määttä are fails. Neither Kessel nor Määttä are departing.

I don't love the idea of moving maatta but you get dumba back, that's an upgrade

Besides nothing, what has Dumba done for Minnesota?

This may be for fun, but it is actually quite realistic

      He's 23, played all 82 games last year. 14 goals 36 assists & a +/- 15. Mattaa had less points, & was a -1. To me, that's an upgrade on Mattaa.

Youth & less cap, seems like a win to me. Plus if Kessel & Sully are butting heads, I'd rather lose Kessel.

I like the team as a Pens fan but there is no way Kunitz is brought back. Dumba is most likely untouchable, plus his next contract will be 2 or 3 years over 5m, then something bigger then 9m a year for 5 plus season. See what the Coyotes have done with Oliver. Numbers of both players are similar. Everything else seems fair. Domi trade makes sense. Would love to see no defense Letang gone (Domoulin would get instantly better)
