Why do people keep sending Bura away?! He's a young top 6 forward and you have the room to keep him!

Burakovsky and Connolly aren't worth the 10th pick, especially not in this draft

Did you watch the playoffs? Orpik had a multiple point game to eliminate Columbs, a game winning one timer from the slot to tie the series with Vegas, and a keep-in/primary assist on the game tying goal two minutes before Eller put home the Cup winner. Also, he had the fifteenth most playoff hits since anyone's been counting, behind a dozen random guys, and two other guys named "Brooks Orpik."

GTFOH with that 5th. http://www.nhl.com/stats/player?report=realtime&reportType=season&seasonFrom=20172018&seasonTo=20172018&gameType=3&filter=gamesPlayed,gte,1&sort=hits

Replying in order: I'm sending Bura away because in my watching him, he hasn't really improved all that much over the last 2 seasons. His value in my opinion is at the highest it will be and we were playing him on the 3rd or 4th line.

I could see that people may not think Burakovsky and Connolly are together worth the 10th overall, but Connolly just had a very good year, Burakovsky has played and meshed well with McDavid before, so Edmonton's GM may think that it it worth that shot considering they desperately need to retool their offense AND defense.

I don't know if you were watching the playoffs but Orpik was used sparingly the entire playoffs. He played well, but at 37, he's not going to be getting better or faster. He was a human pylon for most of the season. It is time to let go in any way possible.

I agree with keep Vrana! He was outstanding and has only gotten better over the course of the season. He should have a permanent place in the top 6.

His worth is literally the lowest it will ever be. He's been fantastic when in the lineup. He's a young, speedy, highly skilled player, you don't just get rid of them for no reason. He has 55+ point ability. His only flaw is health. Keep breaking bones. He said today he's talking to CCM about getting better protective gloves.
