VAN
Swap of dumps Sutter for Lucic(with retention) and Benson as bonus, Baertschi and Leipsic trade for Benning and 2nd. Give nucks a RD to move up line up when Tanev is injured

With Sutter joining team Strome spot has been filled, and leafs need 3rd line C to replace exiting Bozak. Oilers get RW depth and former McD linemate if Rattie experiment doesn't last

      Trading Lucic for Eriksson is stale and doesn't help either team makes no sense. I hate the person that first posted it

      It makes sense cap wise. Why would the canucks wrap up 12M in 2 slow players who arn't getting any older for the next 4 years

      Because they are in pure rebuild mode and won’t be challenging for cups or playoffs for many years so you get picks and young players that will be big pieces when your core is ready to push
