OTT Gives COL 2018 Pick, COL Drafts Zadina

Description
I will say, I had absolutely no idea what to give Hanifin for a contract, so feel free to rip that apart. Also, feel free to rip this whole "team" apart. Part of me thinks it's aggressive, but somewhat realistic. Other part of me thinks I'm fulla beans.

Why would Ottawa give Stone to Colorado? They already owe the Avs either the 4th pick this year or their first pick next year. That was part of the Duchene trade, Ottawa has up until the day before the draft I believe to announce which pick they are keeping. So essentially you are saying take this years pick. Also we'll give you Matt Stone for Lewis.

You could, for example, say something like, Ottawa decides to give this years pick to the Avs and keep next years for themselves. Then draft Zadina. I don't know much about Lewis but I don't think he's even close to Stone's level.

I like the the Ottawa trade for sure... Stone might be a long shot to get but then again Sakic did really a good job on the Duchene trade so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities (even better now that Ottawa has a big decision to make draft day).

Love the Zadina pick as well. He would be such a great fit with the Avs and is something we need (scoring wingers). Either way, the Avs are in the best position possible for the draft/offseason so whatever happens is going to be good for the team.

I have always been a fan of Hanifin and think he can take his game to next level with the Avs. I like that trade along with his contract so I think both are really good offers. Annnnd we still have money to get a depth signing or pay Mikko before JVR screws the market up for wingers.
