Description
Capitalizing on Hoffman's lower value (still giving a decent deal with two B+ level prospects - would be willing to add WPG first or a second if needed).

ARZ has too many LHD with OEL, Chychrun, Goligoski. Steen gives them a veteran winger to help with Galchenyuk, Keller, etc.

Switch Kostin with some other rookie and maybe a pick from Arizona coming to Blues would help. Great idea to send Steen there though, it's getting crowded in STL and Arizona desperately needs a speedy veteran winger!
Also, Grabner is nowhere near that value. 1,5M would.be closer.

I dont think so personally. 3 years at 5.75 mil for a 32 year old winger isn't great value

I'd stay away from Hoffman like he was from a leoper colony. Patches I'd trade for, or maybe reach and try to get Kreider from NY

That's true, but I look at him as the better player
