Any reason why (genuinely curious)? Nino is the better player. He had a pretty poor year after bruising a bone in his leg early in the season, but Nino was on pace for 23 goals while injured and likely would have scored close to 30 had he not been hurt. Zucker put up 33 goals but I attribute that to the play of Granlund and Staal. Zucker is a great player, but it really helps when you have Granlund seamlessly getting him the puck and giving him perfect scoring opportunities.

We need a top 6 LWer and he will have an even better passer in Voracek getting him the puck.

That's what Nino is, top 6 LW and has a better shot than Zucker

Oh, I thought he played RW. But still, we want the speed of Zucker. Zucker is the better player currently.

He does, Nino can play both LW and RW (he's a left shot, though) but Capfriendly only lists him as a RW. We have 1 right shot forward on our roster in Charlie Coyle, Kunin was injured last year and will spend much of the year in Iowa and we traded Stewart, which is why Nino was on the RW. Zucker is the faster player and might fit the Flyers needs more than Nino, but I still think Nino is the better player (even currently). I think if you put Nino in the position Zucker was in last season (1LW playing with Granlund and healthy the full year) he would have produced more points. The great thing is as fans we can agree to disagree!

Edmonton needs a RHD, trading Nurse for Brodin is a backwards move, Id rather keep nurse. Then a second for a 3rd speaks for itself. Bad deal for Edmonton
