I highly doubt STL will trade Parayko for picks. Granted, that MTL pick is #3, but the blow they would take on the blue line wouldn't be worth a prospect that might pan out in a few years.

I would pick Zadina third overall as Edmonton. Get a winger for him.

I dont know. I dont think its a secret at this point that Montreal wants Kotkaniemi, and realistically they would likely still be able to get him at 10. So Why not pick up a useful top 6 player in Strome that can play center or wing, Sekera who while overpaid is still a good second pairing D, in exchange for waiting a half hour or so to take the player you wanted anyway.

While you may very well be right that this isnt a deal MTL would do, you're dead wrong in saying Sekera has negative value.
