Hard no on Dobson. The Canucks have the worst history with players out of the Q. Since the 99 draft, they have taken something like 20+ players that have only played a total of ~120 career NHL games total. Plus Q defensemen are soft and tend to shrink from physical play at the NHL level.

You'd have to pay Toronto to take Gudbranson. Dubas isn't Lou or Babcock, he has no thirst for guys like Gudbranson or the equally as bad and 75% cheaper Polak. And before you start saying Gudbranson is way better than Polak, he isn't, they are the same.
