Description

Although I don't think the leafs will trade for him I think ROR is really underrated and would make the leafs have crazy good center depth. What would a realistic deal look like? I have a late 1st, a roster player and 2 ok prospects that fill a need for buffalo. Maybe scratch the prospects and put Bracco instead but I think that would be dumb to sell him so soon

you will not get anything constructive from fans of other teams, mainly because they all want O'Reilly for pennies on the dollar. With that being said, I agree in that this trade does nothing for Buffalo. Borgman has next to no value as of right now, sparks has not played enough in the NHL to warrant filling the need Buffalo has (Starting Goalie) and Brown just is not enough value. If we are being realistic I can see the following happening should Toronto go down this avenue:
Toronto Trades:
2018 1st Round pick
2019 1st Round pick
Nylander or Marner
Kasperi Kapanen

Buffalo Trades:
Ryan O'Reilly
2018 3rd Round pick.

And that is being nice, lets not forget they are division rivals so Buffalo would look for more than that.
