shouldn't the leafs be developing their own wingers than trying the fading Nash. if bieksa would play for that little salary, would think ducks would pay to stay home in California

I chose Bieksa just to not make leaf fans salty when it’s actually polak who gets resigned. I went Nash so that Grundstrom gets one more minor league season and he and Johnsson compete for third line role. Babs also loves veteran guys so I went Nash as back in his days in Detroit he was someone that babs wanted and never got. Best of both worlds, make babs happy, bring in veteran leadership, and let’s a kid over-season in the minors

Rick Nash has said numerous times that he has no desire to play in Canada, And Detroit says No we've no use for Martin. Let's keep it simple Luke Glendening to the Leafs for a 2019 3rd or 4th round pick.

I’ll take your word on the Nash, can totally be a similar style player in a similar role. As for Detroit it sheds salary and gives a roster spot to a kid.

I know Holland likes Martin, And that's actually not a bad lineup there. And that's a lineup that i can definitely see Holland producing.

Holland can say he’s adding youth, improving his draft stock, and most importantly for Holland “size and grit or sandpaper type players”. This allows Detroit go defense aka Bouchard first and then take a chance on a guy like Bokk with the Toronto pick

That definitely works for me, Sounds good i hope we get Bouchard. But my heart says that Holland probably goes Hughes.

Evan Bouchard 6'2 RHD or Noah Dobson 6'3 RHD those are the two that Holland needs to jump on here tonight.

isn't nash's "veteran leadership" kinda meaningless. as a player he isn't that special now. wasn't getting marleau enough of those crazy veteran leadership. lgrundstrom has played for three pro seasons. hyman had no pro experience and then came in an played big minutes. getting older and burying players for no reason isn't the route to go.
