Montreal will not give straight up the 3rd pick overal... O'reilly is valuable but this draft is full of valuable assets. Any players picked in the top-10 has potential to be a star in the league. Very rare commodity.

If ROR was as established as he is now and was only 22 years old.....absolutely. Habs make this deal. He's too old for what we're giving up. This is like giving up Dahlin for Karlsson now. Yeah you get the better player for the first couple years but the next 10 years after you will be regretting it.

I just don't see a fit with ROR and MTL. We don't have the right assets to offer Buffalo.
