No to the carolina trade. Guhle would not be the add, if there was an add from buffalo. Im not crazy about faulk and skinner as a return for ror. Skinner would help immediately with speed and scoring on the wing, but he will be due a raise and a long term contract almost immediately. Im not crazy about giving up a very nice asset to acquire a winger and then immediately hand him the ufa contract that he would be looking for. Faulk is right handed. So theres that. Hes also carolinas 6 or 7th best d right now, making almost 5 for 2 years. Its not terrible, but at the same time these are assets carolina wants to move, we are giving up ror at 6m in real dollars for 5 years (his 7.5aav doesnt matter to a team not spending to cap), and buffalo would for some reason be adding an A prospect thats cost controlled. I feel like when hanifin got moved the ship sailed for ror to carolina, and im thinking st louis is the front runner now.
