I'm not sure why Dallas would do that. Johnson has to be a cap casualty.

ok great just one question. How do you resign your goalie next year with no cap space?
Not that it matters that JT contract, no way he signs for under 10

Move out Stralman's contract and you'll have enough to resign Serg and Vasi. Have to make room for Foote on the right side anyways. I don't see Yzerman signing Stralman to a contract with that much term.

That's a lot of moving. Did you look at next years cap. Like everyone is on the last year of an entry level contract/low level contract. And then you are going to have a huge contract for Vas. And there is like no cap space.
Seems like a lot to tinker with for 1 guy, even if that guy is JT. It's not basketball. You have to field more than 5 guys.

Not that any of that matters. JT isn't signing for less than 10 million. You can just forge that.
