Sheary is either going to ARZ or BUF
Hunwick is probably going to Carolina.
Cap space and need, those teams fit the bill.

I like this roster. The Penguins are challenged to improve the defensemen on the roster and phase in forwards who have been in the system and will participate in long-term plans. As the salary cap has increased for the 2018-2019 season, the Penguins should be able to move members in trades and address needs in free agency.

I would like the Penguins to consider re-acquiring Ryan Reaves as a free agent. The Penguins were pushed around after Reaves was traded to Vegas. A player who can play hockey and exterminate goons would be an asset.

The Penguins will need to address the defensemen on the roster. Letang needs to improve his defensive play (i.e. turnovers, giveaways, camping out in the zone), or he needs to go. Hunwick was not used much and was a bad signing for not doing much.

I do not see them signing another defenseman to a $4million+ cap hit, and I think they would prefer to move Sheary instead of Hagelin.

I do like Hagelin more than Sheary but the value isnt there for me, but it could bouce back. As for another high cost D, I think that it is definitely a good option for this season, especially as there are a few good UFA's. Then maybe moving a D next summer to make room for Jake.
