    glad you put testing something, those trades are awful. lopsided on all 3 deals.

    How so? Edmonton gets a test run at a 50pt scorer for a 3rd...???? Avalanche need D and get a 4th for taking a cap hit. They could and probably would use Ruhwedel... And Skinner wont get much more than that... UFA next year and not defensively sound.

    Fairly reasonable! One of the few to actually give something to a team for taking the cap dump of Hunwick... Skinner trade isnt bad, they need a Goalie and Rust makes sense for them i think....

    Maybe change the 2nd to a first but make a condition on what year they get?

    lopsided in favor of the other team, not the penguins, the Edmonton deal I changed my mind on after I posted the original comment. The other two the penguins are giving up to much for not enough in return.

    exactly why it isn't reasonable.. The pens shouldn't be giving up something for the other team to get hunwick, his contract isn't so prohibitive that it warrants that. A team should be willing to send a mid-late round pick for him straight up without anything extra. Let alone two extra pieces.

    As for the skinner trade, a 2nd plus rust&jarry is a way overpayment for one year of skinner, changing that to a first would make the deal extra terrible.
