Description

A couple of my Leaf fan friends posed the question today what could the Leafs get in return for Matthews if they signed Tavares. Could they build a contender with the return?
My first thought was the return must include a franchise defenceman. OEL? Karlsson? Doughty? Tough call but went with OEL. Reasonable contract for an elite guy. Doughty and Karlsson are going to get $10 to 12M easily
