Derek Ryan: Third Line C and RW. Speed on the wing when he plays RW, AND primary penalty killer.

Jay Beagle: Stanley Cup experience, primary penalty killer, 4th line grinder. Locker room vet presence

Thomas Vanek: PP specialist, will see first unit PP duties, and will be deployed exclusively in offensive situations in sheltered minutes. He is an offensive specialist.

Michael Hutchinson: an underrated backup option who is there to push Linus Ullmark into that 1b role and provide a safety net in goal.

Trading for rights, so no not necessarily. Not even the correct compensation anyways so it's an overpay. 5.6M = 1st and 3rd

But yeah if you were to actually offer sheet someone it has to be yours

You are giving a better package for Kevin Hayes than you are getting for ROR? If a Blues fan likes the trade it is a bad on for the Sabres.

Why Hutchinson? Why Schmaltz? Sabres have better.
