I don't think either party would want to bridge for that short of time. Maybe the Leafs do a Hyman-type 4 year term as a show-me sort of contract, but I can't see the Leafs signing Nylander for only 2 years. I like Phillipe Myers, not sure he is ready, but a good depth piece. A lot of Flyers fan will not be pleased with your deal, even though I think that is more than fair. Also, as far as your Wild deal is concerned, I think I'd prefer Marcus Foligno over Ennis.

Really? I guess you haven't listened to Hextall. They are grooming Myers to be a 1st pairing shutdown D man to play with Provy. So if that is what they believe he will be then he is either untouchable or you would have to cough up a guy like Nylander.

Whatever source you are getting this from is feeding you complete BS. No teams have been ruled out, as of yet, and it still looks like he will resign in New York. Maybe the Sharks have an edge as far as the other 5 teams are concerned, but in no way has any actual reliable source said that JT will sign with the Sharks.

Your GM likes to talk, much the same way he was when he was a goalie in the NHL. Not for one second do I believe Simmonds is not being shopped, yet specifically at the draft, Hextall said he wasn't fielding any trade offers. The Flyers have a logjam on the right side of young controllable defenseman, so that fat that Myers is untouchable makes absolutely no sense. Maybe they consider him a top prospect, but he is by no means untouchable.

Well, I think I know my team better than you and everything I have heard from the organization is that he is basically untouchable. He is one of very few RHD prospects we have. So I say again, are you willing to trade Nylander for him?

Doubtful :P I will say once again, Myers might be a top defensive prospect in the organization, but he is not untouchable. I wouldn't even call Timothy Liljegren untouchable, and I would say he has far greater potential than Myers. As a straight up deal for Nylander, that will never happen. Considering how deep the Flyers are on the right side, maybe a deal of Myers for Gardiner would work. It would balance your left side and provide your team reasonable offense. I wonder if in that deal, the Leafs would take Andrew McDonald off your hands as well.

Well Hextall has said several times that he is looking to get a RHS D man so trading our top prospect RHD man is NOT happening. Stop arguing about it because you aren't aware of what is going on in the Flyers organization.
