2012 and 2013 pretty much happen as they do. Islander pick Reino and Pulock. 2014 comes and we are looking for a winger for Seguin now. Rumors around the 2014 were Islanders were looking to flip the 5th pick to add a winger. This isn't a trade with Sharks as it is with the Jets. The Jets send Kane to the Islanders for the 5th overall, Josh Bailey and a few smaller assets.

The team sits incomplete, but holy cow this team looks a lot better than the current roster. A legit number 1 pairing on defense. Seguin and Kane are a solid 1-2 punch.

Don’t be mad at Tavares for thinking about leaving the atrocious organization that is NYI. Bringing in Lou and Trotts is too little too late IMO. Tavares gave everything he had to an organization who refused to surround him with true talent. Blame the owner, not JT.

Obviously I am a little salty right now. It it is crazy to think the person that was supposed to save us, might be the one that sets us back even further again. This core looks a lot better then what we have now.

Thanks. A little mad right now, but it is wild the how much better this team looks. Seguin, Hedman, Kane, Larsson. Obviously goalie is still a weak spot, but with the D there I think we could keep a couple pucks out of the net.

This baby? You can't be angry at a player for just abiding by the CBA by being a UFA that he has earned. Same with a RFA if he doesn't want to sign long term and just wants a short term deal.
