Not better than Tampa, Nashville, maybe even Winnipeg. It's a great setup but not best in the league

I'd say at least top 3. A lot of these players haven't had a chance to prove themselves in the playoffs (Slavin, Pesce, Hamilton)

Who cares, that forward group would get absolutely pumped to dust by the better teams in the conference. TO's centre depth will wreck teams.

Yeah but there's not that many better teams in the conference. And TOR will wreck every team in both conferences with Tavares/Matthews/Kadri trifecta.

Its definitely impressive. I think Carolina took a step backwards with the Hamilton trade though. I think the swede they gave up will be a huge loss for them up front. Carolina can't score and their goaltending isn't good. Until they get good goaltending they have no chance to win.

Lindy wasn't doing anything and he and the canes couldn't agree on a new contract. Hamilton is better than Hanifin. Adam Fox looked really really promising in prospects development camp and he's getting closer to signing with the Canes. I would trade Ferland and Fox for Lindy any day. Canes won the trade big time.

But I do agree with you about the goaltending.
