That's a lot of guys promoted to the big team but it does solve the 2019 problem (re-signing Matthews, Marner and Kapanen). All sensible projections for 2018 have to result in cap space of at least $10M going into next year if the team is to keep the Big Four (now 5) together.

I don't think Johnsson is signing a 5 year deal at such a low cap figure. Especially after the year he had. Change that to a 2 or 3 year deal and it looks good to me. Might need a little more cash too but it's close.
