Lol he wanted to play with malkin in the playoffs, that is why the rumours came up. Kessel was with malkin for just under 600 faceoffs, 2nd most on the team next to Haglin. So next time you make claims, you better have facts to back them up.

Make claims? Lmao he played on the 3rd line a lot. But whatever, the pens forward group and offense is still better. Flyers can have the better defense though, I'm fine by that

Real steep price for Stone. I personally don't think he's worth that. And yeah idk why this guy is pretending Kessel is a third liner.... and I'd be willing to bet Patrick >>>>>>> Brassard by the end of this year.

Agree on Patrick over Brassard by the end of the year and the price of Stone. I'm not really sure why you gave 4 stars though. This wouldn't be the best forward group.

No? Who is better? If you say Pittsburgh I am going to laugh very hard.

Pittsburgh's is better. Lindblom and Patrick are still unproven. Their prospects are exciting but it's still potential. I don't think the Flyers could be better than Pittsburgh until they add a legit 3rd center. Moving Giroux to center doesn't help. He's overmatched defensively against Crosby or Malkin.

Everyone is over-matched against Crosby/Malkin tears of joy

They are. It's ridiculous to call another forward group better.

You do know that the forward group means all 4 lines and not just the top 2 right? Please just stop commenting on my posts because we have already determined our difference of opinion.

That Flyers bottom 6 will be happy to play even with Pittsburgh's bottom 6. They can't afford any overmatched lines in the top 6. Couturier can only take away Crosby or Malkin. That leaves the Giroux line to get torched.

Also about the argument for what line Pittsburgh uses Kessel on, they use him wherever he can be most effective to cause matchup issues. It's a nice advantage when you have 3 high skilled centers.

Not the best forward group lol. Not even close. Unranked, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Boston (bergy-marchy-pasta-debrusk-donato), Calgary, Chicago, St. Louis, Toronto, Winnipeg, Washington, San Jose, Nashville. Not even top 10. Chicago is iffy so is Boston, but STILL NOT TOP 10. Good trade, bad clickbait

This is funny! I see you listed 5 players from BOS...how about the rest of them? Not good that is why they aren't listed so no, BOS's is not better than what is above. I could go on with most teams you listed and point out the flaws but what is the point. Clearly you all under-rate Flyers players.

Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, Konecny, Simmonds, Patrick, JVR, Stone
