I'm not giving the Hawks 1st round pick for Patches. This isn't anything against him as a player, but CHI is probably not making the playoffs and I'm not satisfied with 1st round exits...so will Patches make them cup contenders...I'm not so sure it does. So why do it? Just trying to be realistic.

Why take on Johnson's contract when Schmaltz, DeBrincat, Sikura, and Pach would all need to be resigned in the next 2 seasons. And the D hasnt been improved at all. Jokiharju and Boqvist won't be ready this season. And giving up Murphy for nothing seems a bit pointless
