Description

Montreal gets rid of expiring contracts in return for a prospect, picks, and a cheap bottom six forward.

Penguins get rid of Hagelin's cap hit. Flames get a useful speedy third liner with a ton of playoff experience that can kill penalties for them. Bennett gets a fresh start with a chance to play on the Pens' third line (compete with Aston-Reese for the spot). Low risk move that the Penguins can move on from in the offseason if he fails to pan out.

It's a joke about the Canadiens...though that sort of thing does occasionally matter to them. The Drouin things was a big deal because they were finally getting a French "star."

ZAR makes sense to even up the value. I'll add him.

as i agree with everything but the past has shown mtl gets stupid when a quebec player is available. but that trade is far below the value we needed in return
