I like the idea, but I think CAR is giving away too much. Skinner (extended) + Faulk for Draisaitl is a fair deal in itself. So Rask + Gauthier for Lucic? Man...that part is ugly. You guys don't need him that much lol and he's certainly not worth all that. It should be tweaked a little for me To shake on it, from Carolina's POV. From Edmonton's point of view, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

As much as I would like to agree with you, I think you're undervaluing Draisaitl a little bit. I think Draisaitl is worth a little more than Faulk and Skinner (signed). He's only 22 and he has two 70+ point seasons under his belt.

Didn't sign Nurse.. and TBH If Draisaitl is leaving I don't want the players you want to ship out. I want the players you have hard time giving up. No reason to trade up incoming stud C for declining RHD and Inconsisent Winger.

Its hard to make comparable trade the other way but you wouldn't trade Aho unless you were getting Draisaitl, so why should Oilers trade Draisaitl without getting Aho.

MASSIVE overpayment for Draisaitl. You have to stop treating him like he's McDavid or Crosby.
