I like the idea of adding Roy, but probably as the 13th forward

He reportedly decided to go to Europe after he didn't land a top six spot with the Caps in camp, and they wouldn't meet his salary demands. So.... Yeah, he can probably still play, but you can keep that minimum wage 13th forward offer. At last report, that is not his scene.

Would Vanek really waive his NTC to come back to BUF?

3 years at 2M$ AAV for Reinhart?!? Do you really think that would do it?? First 3 seasons : 42, 47, 50 pts. 2nd overall pick, 22 years old...even on a 2-3 years bridge deal, he'll get between 3.5 and 4M$. I would lock him up long term now since he hasn't reach his peak so you'd be signing him up for a lower cap hit than he should get in a year or two. I'd do 7 years at 5.75M$ AAV. Two years from now, this contract will look like a total steal for the last 5 years!

Where's A.Nylander in your line-up?

If the Sabres wanted Vanek they would have made him an offer in FA. Reinhart is getting much more

Nylander is in the A, he'll probably be there the entirety of this year if not next

I'd have him in the AHL playing with Asplund and Pu. Number 1PP. Number 1PK. As many minutes as possible. Have that line ready for 2019-2020 season.
