Not bad. Not sure what the price is on Zucker, but I'd like him. I don't think Bogosion is worth anything close to a third and second. Maybe jusst a fourth at best.

The MN trade doesn't do anything for Minny. All they signed as UFA's was 4th line and AHL depth, no need to double down on that. If it was Reinhart, Thompson, or Nylander (not a fan of his personally) coming back should be more interesting to them. Spurgeon or Brodin is the Wild player really Buffalo needs. Zucker would be a nice addition as a wing, but the d-corps really needs to be solidified.

Bogo doesn't have any value at this point. It's been what 7 years in a row he's missed 20% or more of the season? You're stuck with him at this point, play him and hope he's healthy and returns to at least 2nd pair form. He's not killing your cap at least.

Beaulieu was awful last season, I could see someone taking a chance on him as a waiver claim/future consideration trade, but his $2.4m isn't a good contract. If he plays like he did in MTL he has value, but not many GMs would risk it for a 6/7 d-man.

Yeah that Zuck trade doesn’t get it done. They would need a 1st, you GM NHL player with term, and top prospect. IE, Nylander, SJ 1st, McCabe for Zucker and a future 2nd.

It’s a lot but Zuck is a got damn monster.

McCabe is useless to MN. I can's say he's any better than Olofsson or Seeler and they will be fighting for the 3rd pair LD spot this season and Soucy will be nipping at their heels the season after that.

The future 1st isn't all that appealing, unless the wheels completely fall off SJ (and STL) look to be at least a WC team. Buf's 1st could end up being another top-5 pick, so it shouldn't be on the table.

Nylander, I'm not a fan of, but he his draft pedigree (right or wrong) makes him more valuable. Him being a RHS is also a need for MN.

Eichel, Risto, Mittelstadt, and Dahlin shouldn't be in the same room for a Zucker deal so they are off the table.

That really just leaves Thompson and Reinhart (maybe Nylander) as the main piece that coming from Buffalo; they fit the needs of MN: RHS C/W. MN can easily just walk away from any trade that doesn't meet their needs.

First off, McCabe is definitely better than Seeler. Olofsson? Maybe. Also there’s rumors of Bjugstad to MIN for Brodin, so that would open another LHD spot.

It all depends on negotiations. If MIN wants Dumba for 8 years they could hit 7M AAV, and that leaves like 4-5M in cap space for Zucker which is cutting it quite close. If I were Zuck I wouldn’t take any deal with term less than 5.8-6M. The math isn’t really adding up in my head.

Unless MIN is fine with going to Arb and giving Zucker a 1 yr deal and he’s UFA in a year, trading him for futures might be best.

Zucker's new deal will get done before arbitration. Actually making it to the arbitrator award is about as common as an offer sheet in recent years. The hearing date just puts a timeframe on when the deal has to get done.

Cap space isn't really an issue. MN could sign both Dumba and Zucker to $7m deals and be just at the cap with 2 pressbox guys.

Seeler is (arguably) better than Olofsson. McCabe regressed last season, he's better than Beaulieu, but that's not saying much.

I don't see Brodin being traded this off-season (Suter's injury). I want nothing to do with any of Seeler, Olofsson, or McCabe on the top pair for any time next season. MN would have to acquire Nurse (popular in MN ACGM trades right now, but unlikely in real life) or someone similar.
