Description

Kruger is back... Yay. Kampf is a great 4C at a much cheaper price. But I have too much common sense apparently. The hawks are linked to Patch and Skinner, which makes some sense, but what about fixing the defense? I feel like Stan is blaming last seasons problems on Crawford's injury. Which doesn't seem to make sense. Moving Oesterle was a mistake, he was one of the bright spots last season. At 650K he's a tremendous value player. I honestly don't know anymore. Do the hawks have any valuable pieces to make a big splash? Hinostroza was a good trade asset, now he's gone. I'm running out of answers.

I would really be worried if the Hawks did trade a # 1 pick for a one year rental like Patches or Skinner. Still could be a top 10 pick. Easy for me to say, my GM job isn't on the line if the Hawks miss the playoff for two straight years.

Buy out Kruger, and ship one of the young productive players with some prospects for a top level talent.
Fill in the rest of the team with bargain vets who still have something to offer in a limited role.
