3 way trade - Ottawa side - Rebuliding in progress

Created by: Blackmore23
Team: 2018-19 Ottawa Senators
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 12, 2018
Published: Jul. 13, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
With the gain of Sergachev and Raddysh are crucial for the teams future. Two young players looking to prove big and become important players. Girardi will help bring experience and help the young defensive group grow and become a force to be recking with. Callahan with alos bring experience to a young group and help them rebuild properly. I personally don't think Callahan will want to be traded to help rebuild a team, but you never know.

The biggest loss the will ever suffer is losing their captain and star player Karlsson. Right now, Ottawa won't be able to replace him, but they will have the chance to develop young players like Sergachev, Chabot and Ceci grow and hopefully become dominant players. Again losing Pageau does hurt the team, althought it gets the chance to develop the young studs like Tkachuk, Brown, White and Raddysh to become a solid offensive force in the future.

A lot of these players in this 4 way trade have NMC and NTC's. I'm not sure they wiave them for the teams they are being traded to.

Assuming so, but Girardi and Callahan might have to get pushed from Tampa Bay's staff in order for them to bring in Karlsson

Both guys are respected NHL vets who still are entrenched in the team. "Pushing" these guys out would not only piss off some players, it would look bad on the organization. Their best bet is to try and convince them to waive it by moving them to places they might actually want to go to. Otherwise they are struck with them. If I'm Callahan and Girardi and I'm part of a potential cup winner, I ain't moving for ****. I want a cup and I don't want to move my family to make the organization happy. There is a reason they signed NMC contracts.

Take out anything going directly from Ottawa to Vegas and it makes more sense. Any picks or prospects would have to be coming from TB to VGK
