You won't get one from me.

Starting to look like the Opening Night roster. Who's your 14th forward -- Amadio or Rempal? Or is it possible someone else will make the team out of camp?

And then, of course, there's the possibility of that rumored Forbort-for-Trouba trade . . .

Really? Source? Any chance to get rid of Forbort I'm all in? lol. Also I would expect Brodzinsky and Amadio will be the other forwards. Both are good and have done well at the big level.

Also I don't really know much about Trouba. What kind player is he? Is he good?

I dunno. I keep hearing he's good third-pairing material. Like Greg Pateryn.

Amadio is definitely the 14th forward that gets added in this scenario, though as of right now Vilardi is projected to be starting the 2018-19 season in Kingston, which means Rempal might also get a roster spot as well, or if the Kings possibly sign Dev. Camp invitee Max Veronneau, he could possibly get it as well. Of course, there's also the possibility we hit up free agency for those fringe roster spot guys as well.

Never heard of there being possible trade rumors involving Trouba. I'd love to see your source though!

It's a private joke. Bf3351 isn't a big fan of Derek's, and he and I have had fun discussing the subject (as you can see from our latest exchange).

Who's projecting that Vilardi is going to start the season in Kingston? Both Blake and Stevens have said that they're giving him every opportunity to make the team out of camp. The Athletic reported that he'll be given a little extra leeway since players like Rempal can be returned to Ontario to play against other professionals, while Vilardi would have to go back to juniors, where he's already dominating the other teenagers on the ice.

Unless Vilardi suffers an injury or a major setback in training camp, there's absolutely no way he doesn't make the team.

Vilardi is projected to make the Kings Roster. He was supposed to make it last season but he injured his back. He will make the Kings. There's no doubt.

As was mentioned before, Amadio as your 14th forward pretty much makes this the opening night roster barring any trade. Also, I believe Muzzin is locked into the 2nd line LD slot and Phaneuf will be LaDues mentor on the 3rd pair. Having limited Phaneuf toi for him or essentially shielding him from other teams best lines due to age and lack of speed should help him to be productive for a year or two.
