Description

Sens take on Kronwall to help pave the way for Detroit to be able to pay Larkin what he's worth.

In return the sens get a bottom six guy with some upside, and a vet on the blueline who's making 3 mil under his cap hit (which is whats Melnyk gets off to).

I don't really know what that's worth in terms of value, so I just threw this together.

I would say between a 2nd and a 3rd. I would blow Dorion if he did this. Frk has more to prove though. He’s a great team player. His play declined after both of his goalies got on the coaching staff about how hard his shot was. Literally had Mrazek saying he wouldn’t practice anymore because of his shot

I'd be more inclined to make it a 4th. I would give up a 3rd for Frk, but think the addition of Kronwall brings that pick down by a round.

This is a great trade idea. Sens get a player who might be up for a Dzingle type season 20G+20A and Sens could use some help down the right side. Definitely a guy to bet on for a low risk medium return kind of trade. Pushes Wideman back to the 7th D spot (if Karlsson stays).
