That's not nearly enough for Karlsson.

You've built a deal that, if he signs an extension, gives the Sens: Carlo (who is ******* great, that makes this look really nice to start), a 1st, and two questionable prospects who didn't have amazing first seasons in the AHL and never projected to be very good anyways. Just about anybody in the league can offer a better package. Now, if it were to include, let's say, Donato or Heinen it would start to approach a more realistic price point.

Agreed, especially if youre not taking back Ryan contract, the price will be much higher and the pieces need to be much much better.

if im SEN and im look at BOS, Im gunna want Heinen, BJork, Carlo, and 1st. No conditionals, if he doesnt resign with the team, he doesnt resign with the team. thats not my problem at that point. youre not gunna pay less just cause you want him as a rental or let him walk in free agency. but if there needs to be condiotnals in the trade, ill add a conditional 1st. if he resigns i get another 1st from BOS.

He's limited offensively and arguably worse defensively
