No thanks...why on earth would the Hawks trade 3 consecutive years worth of first round picks along with a middle pairing Dman and a middle 6 center to end up with a marginally better middle 6 center and marginally better middle pairing Dman (with a combined price tag of 2.5 a year more in cap)? I would rather hang onto all those futures and pay the center that will chip in 40ish points a year 1.5 million less a year then the about to be a UFA who is a 50 point center. Rutta was on pace to put up Faulk's 30point norm of the last 3 seasons before getting hurt for half his price. I'll stick with Schmaltz and Toews as the top 2 centers and wait on Jokiharju (or one of Mitchell/Boqvist) to be better then Faulk and not give up the assets and be left with no depth to compete.
