If Trouba would agree to that deal, Jets would have paid him too. Kurt Overhardt is a top notch douche.

Not enough? Apparently you are not familiar with Sanheim!

Or WPG has screwed him around so long that he has said "fk you, pay me or I'm not playing" which leads to a deal like this. I feel that WPG has not offered him near this and it's more likely in the $5.5 range.

I could see Chevy looking closely at this deal if Trouba is asking WPG to pay above market for him. Sanheim, a solid backup goalie, a 1st, and cap space to work on Wheeler’s extension is a good return if Trouba has a pistol out.

Sanhiem is a local boy. One advantage...but he is a LD. He is also a player who has never cracked the lineup for a whole year.

I sure do...He is a local boy...He has never cracked the lineup for a whole year and he is also a LD. The Jets are loaded with LD prospects.

Trade Trouba, (LD Prospect) and Boissoit for Sanheim, Neurvith, Myers and a pick. How about that?

LMAO, you aren';t getting our 2 top D prospects. Claiming Sanheim hasn't played an entire year is a dumb argument as everyone knows his potential. He has also played the right side in both the AHL and NHL so claiming he MUST be a RHD is another moot point.

We are set at LD and Hextall wants Myers to be a top pairing guy with Provy so he isn't being moved.

Sanheim will round out at a top 6 d-man, why would the Jets part with Trouba for him?

So a Top-2 D man for a huge downgrade, a mediocre backup and 1st? That first isnt likely to be a lottery pick with Trouba, so that value lowers significantly.

No way, as per usual, you're just a typical Flyers fan overhyping their players, the guy is 22 and he only has half a season of playing time

    Sanheim dude? Gonna b a top 4 D-man tops. Trouba’s a top 2. That 1st doesnt add much and Neuvirth is ****.
Maybe Puljujarvi could get u that package alone and maybe a bit more, but the 1st included is too much.

If you don't think Sanheim is going to be a top 4 then you have ZERO clue who he is.

A huge downgrade? Sanheim as a top 4 floor and top pairing ceiling. Neuvy isn't a "mediocre" back-up he is better than most that were signed this offseason including 10x better than Brossoit. As for the EDM trade, please enlighten me on how this is a bad trade? Keep in mind that Pujujarvi hasn't shown that he can be a top 6F (yes he is still young but with every passing year he becomes more of a bust...see Sam Bennett).

You have a disgruntled Trouba with a team that doesn't want to pay him. I bet he asks for a trade and or holds out. He is likely done with the Jets unless he gets his long term deal like above. His trade value goes down in this scenario. Also, Neuvy is not ****, you should try and watch him more.

Simmonds>>>>>Puljujarvi. Kid hasn't shown a damn thing yet. Not what you are looking for from a 4th overall pick. Weal adds much needed speed to their roster and Rubstov will be a solid 3rd line shutdown guy (if he can learn the language)

"Top 4" is a wide gap. Remember, Phaneuf is a top 4. Having a young, proven top-2 is way more valuable than a young, unproven maybe top 4. As for the Edmonton trade, Pul is one of their best prospects right now. Giving him up will cost a lot, regardless of wether or not you think hes a bust. Simmonds is about to hit 30, and weal and rubtsov are not anything special. After this past season, that 1st could be a lottery pick and be worth more than the package they gave it up for without Pul.

With Simmer it is likely not a lottery pick. That is the point...

Edmontons issues is not Offense, its defense. I dont care what a forward can do in their own zone, Edmonton needs a defender if they want to ensure a playoff spot. Adding simmonds does nothing to help them protect that 1st.

Well for starters EDM finished 20th in GF. Yes they have a D issue but that can be helped by adding speed (Weal) and someone to play with Draisaitl. If Drai isn't the only one on the line that can play then they will spend more time in the offensive zone.

It's a "no" from Edmonton anyhow, just sit back and enjoy the show.
