It looks high to me, but the roster looks good, and Poile is certainly a fan of loading up on talented offensive defensemen. Need to move Arvisson, Smith or Ryan next summer to afford an extension..... price is way too high for a rental.

The deal can be made, but you would have to dump Ryan to make it work, but for this year. It isn't neccessarily bad to have Ryan because he does help that 2nd line he is just majorly overpaid, but to me they are in a win win right now for the year because it does add dpeth to the team and might even help them push further for a Cup.

Dont like, EK wont agree to a big deal for prime years only, he deserves 11 mil during decline as well
Moy and petterson dont do much bonino is a cap dump and 2 1sts in a row + ryan is unrealistic from NSH or anyone tbf

It’s not realistic? Nsh is taking on Ryan. And Bonino is good as a Depth Center for Ottawa. Like I said not too familiar with the Nsh Prospects and the Picks are to compensate for Bonino as sort of a cap dump.

The contract demand isnt enough for EK

Well I added the contract to show he gets an extention. It’s not my main thing im imfacizing. I’m trying to see what kind of trade would work. And I think EK would take a pay cut if he can win a cup.

I dont think it would work cause EK will want more than 9 even from Nashville and the cap space wont work for next summer. U could try a BR+EK for PK Subban type move, but Ottawa wouldnt go for that if they r trying to dump cap. It’s a great idea, but this is why the Salary Cap was created.
